The MachineThe Machine - April 03 - Poole Bay - Category 3

Easter Bank holiday weekend saw the journey from Poole to Lymington marred by one of the most spectacular bouts of seasickness ever witnessed aboard Enigma. In a heavy swell Enigma blasted out into Poole Bay off Old Harry, tacking towards the Solent as the tide turned to run with the wind, and so ease the conditions. After an hour 'The Machine' began to feel a little queasy and tried to meditate and use acupressure to relieve the suffering, but no amount of alternative therapy could prevent him from hurling a huge load that covered the port quarter. He then he went below to sit in extreme discomfort, dry retching his ring up solidly for six hours whilst the Skipper tacked the boat in strengthening wind conditions accross to Lymington.

Seriously though, sea sickness is no joke. If you are coming sailing and are worried about sea sickness check out this information
